A Painter's Touch

This artistic trio was photographed at the Tulip Festival mentioned in yesterday’s post. Just look at the brush strokes of colour applied with a master’s skill. The colours are absolutely scrumptious. When confronted with a whole bed of these tulips it’s hard to appreciate their delicate beauty. But isolate one and suddenly the pure beauty is immediately apparent.

  1. Ah, but the swaths of colour, especially beds of clashing colour, provide a unique sensory experience as well. Outside my office window is a bed of tulips ranging from red, hot yellow, frosted pink and maroon. And around the corner is another bed of pinks: sunset-pink, popsicle pink, white-pink... Like a choir vs. a soloist. -- M
