Finally I have enough tulips in bloom to start cutting them for flower arrangements. So I got out the red bucket I mentioned in my May 7th post to see how it would look. The bucket was a bargain purchase from a thrift shop and I mused in that post that it would make a lovely container for flower arrangements. I think, maybe, I was right.
I only wish I had some really bright yellow tulips to go with that red. Or better yet, yellow tulips with red stripes.
