Well, it’s official. No magnolia blooms on my tree this year. I had hoped, but now it’s a certainty... no blooms. This year’s branches held only crispy dried up buds. Only one bud managed to open, revealing a deformed browned blossom. What a sight the tree is in spring when it’s laden with blooms. Just look at the blossoms from last year. Now I’ll have to wait another year before the possibility of blooms beckons once again.
