An English cream tea includes a pot of tea, a scone or two, clotted cream and jam, usually strawberry. The scones can vary greatly but the clotted cream, whether Cornish or from Devonshire, is thick and creamy and absolutely delicious on a scone.
Imagine my delight, after lamenting that I had enjoyed my last cream tea of the trip, when I was served a cream tea on the flight home (pictured directly above). Nothing could have been more welcome!
