Boxing Day brought us freezing rain that coated everything with a thick layer of ice, reminiscent of the 1998 Ice Storm. Fortunately the electricity didn't go out as it did then.

Finding creative inspiration in everyday life
Reminds me of the Icestorm,1998. Luckily, I was in Vancouver so was not unconvenienced by it. You would rarely see ice on the trees here. I have a photo of an Old Montreal street lantern covered in ice and dripping with icicles, looks like a chandelier.
